Mission 24: [Video]
Jul. 1st, 2012 06:59 pm[It was a little too much green, really. Reminded him of being in a mako-filled tube.]
( {Private to Fai, Rubedo/Albedo, and Unohana.} )
After a moment, there's a flicker of resignation. Whether he wants it or not, he needs to eat it. 'Ulquiorra' puts his sword away and tears into the other Hollow. Mercifully for those with weak stomachs, the feed blinks out only a few seconds later.]
(The game here is, of course, who can figure out this isn't Ulqui, and how quickly.)
Mission 17: [Video]
Nov. 15th, 2011 05:08 pmWeren't there traps going off all over the place when he'd headed out to the Wastes that morning? Nothing besides the usual had troubled him as he re-entered the city.]
Did the event end early?
Mission 16: [Accidental Video]
Oct. 29th, 2011 01:46 amAngeal Hewley. Genesis Rhapsodos. Zack Fair. Faramis Gast. Lucrecia Crescent. Vincent Valentine.
All from his own world, with dates in Gaia's calendar. All people who have been important in his old life, even if he only found out about Vincent and Lucrecia here. But there are more stones, with more names that have nothing to do with his world.
Unohana Retsu. Gaignun Kukai Jr. Albedo Piazzola. Ulquiorra Cifer. Tsukino Usagi.
His own grave is there, too, a monument topped with a guardian angel statue. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the statue seems to be missing a wing. There are three sets of dates inscribed on it, though on the third set, both dates are the same. He's already watched himself die at Cloud Strife's hands far more than could possibly be healthy for anyone, though not looking at the dates isn't any better thanks to the damn hallucinations. Listening to the bullshit spouted by his insane self is slightly less than entertaining.]
You betrayed Mother. [More voices speaking to him that no one else could hear.]
Jenova is not my mother and you are an abomination. I would almost consider these mercy killings if Strife were not such an ass.
[Despite the defiant words, Sephiroth looks more tired and depressed than anything, and the feed blinks out as he sits down by the covered grave.]
I have had enough, you two. [Sleepy and annoyed Sephiroth is sleepy and annoyed. Also shirtless and in bed, tangled up in his sheets.]
I realize your intentions are good but your methods leave much to be desired. This has been going on for weeks. Shut up and let me sleep in peace or I swear I will find a way to make you regret it.
(Side note: Completely failed to post about slowatus anywhere but Plurk. I have computer usage restrictions now, too, much like sister only a little more lenient. So.... that's why I've been even slower than usual lately. Who would have thought it was possible? :\ )
Even to the average observer, it's obvious that Sephiroth is pained and horrified. To the people who actually know him, and how subtle his displays of emotion usually are, the expression is like a blinking neon warning that he is in Bad Shape. When he speaks, it's barely audible and sounds... broken.]
No...
[The PCD feed jostles and eventually blinks out as Sephiroth snatches the device back up and, for the first time in his life, runs from something.]
Mission 13 : [Video] Sunday morning-ish
Sep. 4th, 2011 03:20 amA moment of weakness like, say, most of a week spent with their free will suppressed.
So when the feed from Sephiroth's retrieved PCD blinks on, it's displaying a Sephiroth only one person here has seen before. A Sephiroth with a single black wing arching from his right shoulder, the sky as his backdrop, and a look of disdain and simmering malice on his face.]
Hmph. This place... Madara may be content to attempt to rule in Hell, but I am not. Mother is calling me. She wishes for my return. I will go to her...
[Sephiroth swings his sword several times, sending arcs of blue-white energy hurtling downward. While it doesn't show up on the feed, a luckily already derelict building in the city crumbles under the assault.]
If I must turn this worthless, soulless planet into rubble to do so.
That's right, sir, it's a test of dexterity. You have to be quick, precise, and careful, or else the paper net tears and the fish stay in the water. Why don't you give it a try?
Very well. [He hands the attendant a couple of vaguely coin-shaped slices of rock, having noted quickly that they don't require actual money. On the first try he only ends up with a broken net, but he works out quickly where he went wrong, and on the second attempt he scoops out a pretty white fish with red spots.]
Congratulations, sir! One quick learner you are. Here!
[Sephiroth looks a touch surprised when the attendant puts the fish in a bag with some water and pushes it into his hands. Apparently he didn't realize that succeeding meant you won the fish. What is he going to do with a fish?]
Mission 10: [Voice]
Jun. 11th, 2011 01:08 amI have completed my initial work of editing and updating the previously existing briefing for new arrivals. The revised briefing packet can be located here. [Insert network link here.]
I am available for feedback and suggestions if anyone believes vital information has been left out or presented poorly.
[Yes. This is what Sephiroth has been doing while confined to a bed in the clinic. Working. The man does not seem to have any conception of the meaning of 'inactivity'. Let alone 'complete bed rest'. It doesn't help that he is chafing at being in the clinic while other people have been investigating the Inner City.]
Mission 9: [Accidental Video]
Jun. 7th, 2011 04:12 pmHis right hand has blood all over it, mostly from a vicious gash on his right arm. Or maybe some of it is from that hole in his torso. All in all, there's plenty of blood to go around.]
Cur-
[His attempt to cast is cut off by a harsh coughing fit. As he lifts his right hand to his mouth to cover it, more blood spatters the black leather of his glove. This particular blood very definitely came out of his mouth. Internal injuries, maybe?]
...Curaga.
[Interestingly, Sephiroth is actually posting on purpose this time. So he is fully dressed and properly composed.]
I have been observing the initial feeds from the recent arrivals. Currently, it appears that what information they receive depends on who greets them and what questions they ask. Given that the simple lack of a warning not to pet the rabbits can lead to injury, this strikes me as a hazardous state of affairs.
I believe a standardized briefing should be compiled to be made available to new arrivals. I would welcome suggestions as to what current inhabitants consider vital information.
Mission 7: [Accidental Video]
May. 11th, 2011 08:35 pm[As with many other people this week, Sephiroth has not been getting much sleep. Enhanced hearing plus this don't really mix well. Especially when the soundtracks from other people's posts are added in.
The clattering noise and the way the PCD feed is jerking may indicate that he just threw the thing. Who knows where it landed, but it's in a place where it has a good video of Sephiroth sprawled over his bed.]
♪If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman~♪
....I'm growing extremely short of patience with this. If there must be music, couldn't it at least be something classical?
[Whereupon the music promptly switches. Well... It's classical video game, anyway. Not that Sephiroth knows that. Nor does he know that the PCD is recording, so he buries his head under his pillow with a small sound of disgust.]
Mission 6: [Accidental Video]
Apr. 26th, 2011 05:19 pmMother...
[He rests one hand on the fireplace mantle, the other lifting to press against the side of his head in a way that could indicate pain or disorientation. Finally, the feed times out.]
Mission 5: [Video]
Apr. 21st, 2011 12:54 amThis is getting ridiculous. I'm hardly an expert on large-scale operations, but shouldn't the sane people be working together to contain the adversely affected instead of squabbling with each other over who is going to take care of what and how?
I may or may not be affected, obviously I wouldn't be able to tell, but I don't honestly care. At least I'm not planning any bloody massacres, and I'm willing to help deal with the people who are.
Mission 4: [Video]
Mar. 20th, 2011 03:53 amThis is not funny.
