Mission 2 : [Accidental Video]

[Apparently, Sephiroth set his PCD down somewhere out of the way to keep it from getting damaged. He hadn't noticed the red light that meant it was recording yet, so he just carried on with what he was doing. The Hall of Fire in the Last Homely House looked a bit ragged, the pillars cracked in places and the carvings slightly worn, but the construction was still solid. Sephiroth, SOLDIER 1st Class, ultimate weapon of ShinRa, Hero of Wutai and child of Jenova.... was cleaning.]

It's going to take months to get half of this place in order...

[And apparently perfectly content with that, judging from the music notes mixing in with the ubiquitous hearts. Sephiroth finished cleaning up the area around the hearth and settled a few logs inside before lighting it with a Firaga. Then he noticed the light, and walked quickly over to the PCD to shut off the feed.]

The hearts tend to show up regardless of what I'm actually feeling. [The music notes are a different story. Also, his bubble is making ( >_> ) shifty, evading the subject faces now.]

I don't so much enjoy cleaning as I appreciate having something to do. I'm an active person.

Childhood sweethearts? [There is a very, very faint, barely discernible hint of uncertainty to the question, like Sephiroth is not entirely sure he has the correct term, or maybe the correct concept.]

But it feels wrong. We can't just, manipulate fate, either, or we're no better than the Animus.

It's no more right if we imprison ourselves here for the sake of the ones for whom it is not a prison. It's possible that a way will be found for this place to remain and only those who wish to leave will do so. But it might not, and in that case, eventually, a choice will have to be made.

[Sephiroth is more concerned with the possibility that it will be all or nothing, in the end. Everyone goes home or everyone stays.]

You can't give everyone 'happily ever after'.
