To be honest, it stopped being about safety a long time ago for me. Nigredo couldn't thrive in the world that he had to be in, so Gaignun had to be created. Then I just got used to being him. I'm not two different people, but it feels that way sometimes.
But I am still Nigredo under it all.
[Ok so maybe he's being a bit of an emotional coward by doing this all in text, but baby steps, right?]
