Mission 10: [Voice]

[Since Sephiroth is currently bandaged on a bed in the clinic, he is not feeling terribly inclined to activate the video function of his PCD. The announcement he wants to make doesn't require him to be seen.]

I have completed my initial work of editing and updating the previously existing briefing for new arrivals. The revised briefing packet can be located here. [Insert network link here.]

I am available for feedback and suggestions if anyone believes vital information has been left out or presented poorly.

[Yes. This is what Sephiroth has been doing while confined to a bed in the clinic. Working. The man does not seem to have any conception of the meaning of 'inactivity'. Let alone 'complete bed rest'. It doesn't help that he is chafing at being in the clinic while other people have been investigating the Inner City.]

[Sora walks into the clinic because, y'know, exploring and all. He takes a look around and is just about to walk out because he's seen a clinic before and they're not very interesting, though it was good to know about, but then he spots Sephiroth! He's seen the male's face before and knows that he's friends with Riku so that should make them friends as well, right?]

Hey Sephiroth!

[And the boy is walking over to the male and sits right next to him on his bed as if they've known one another forever and he was just visiting him out of concern.]

...What happened?

[Congratulations, Sora, you're officially only the second person to ask that question without a 'the hell' in it. Also, you get a quizzical look for your fearless invasion of his personal space. Why do Riku's derps keep wanting to visit him?]

It's complicated. The short version is that I was attacked.

[The only reason you are not being made to get off his bed is because Riku wants him to be nice to you and Sephiroth's social skills do not allow for regaining his personal space without being an asshole.]

[Sora doesn't notice the quizzical look. He ignores all things that may suggest that the other person is uncomfortable. He's visiting because Sephiroth is Riku's big brother and...well, Sora was his boyfriend! He had to get Sephiroth to like him.]

Attacked! By who?

[Sora would go find them and tear them to pieces...even though Sephiroth, a man who was more powerful than he is, couldn't!]

[Ignoring the personal space does not help your crusade, Sora. Sephiroth blinks at his little brother's boyfriend and waves off the question.]

They weren't responsible for their actions. Someone here is toying with minds.

[No going after Ulquiorra, please. Sephiroth sort of almost likes him and it wasn't his fault.]

[Sure it does! If they were close physically then they'd have to get close emotionally eventually! This was Sora's logic, Sephiroth. Welcome to it.]

Toying with minds? How?

[Yes, he assumes that you know, Sephiroth.]

[Sephiroth will have no truck with your weird moon logic, Sora. He likes his personal space, damnit.]

I'm uncertain at the moment. Given this place, there are probably more methods than I will appreciate knowing about. Once I'm permitted to leave the clinic, I intend to speak with the individual in question and find out what they know about what happened.

[Well he should have thought about liking his personal space before he interacted with others. Really, Sephiroth, you set yourself up for this.]

Will you let me know if you find anything out? Now I wanna know.

Only if you promise not to do anything with the information that will make Riku want to kill me for giving it to you. [Sephiroth is many things but he's not stupid.

And yeah, he figured. Riku had a hand in getting him stuck here in the first place.]

[Lies. All lies.]

Okay.

[The boy nods. He isn't too comfortable with keeping things from Riku, but he knows the male keeps secrets from him so...now at least he would have one!]

I promise.

[Sephiroth will have you know he is a very honest man. Usually.]

Then I will inform you should I discover anything. [And dude, that is not what he meant. He does not mean you should be keeping this from Riku, he means you should not use the information to go and get into trouble. Like trying to hunt down the guilty party on your own, for example.]
