Mission 10: [Voice]

[Since Sephiroth is currently bandaged on a bed in the clinic, he is not feeling terribly inclined to activate the video function of his PCD. The announcement he wants to make doesn't require him to be seen.]

I have completed my initial work of editing and updating the previously existing briefing for new arrivals. The revised briefing packet can be located here. [Insert network link here.]

I am available for feedback and suggestions if anyone believes vital information has been left out or presented poorly.

[Yes. This is what Sephiroth has been doing while confined to a bed in the clinic. Working. The man does not seem to have any conception of the meaning of 'inactivity'. Let alone 'complete bed rest'. It doesn't help that he is chafing at being in the clinic while other people have been investigating the Inner City.]

Hey dude, uh, Riku told me you were injured, and I just wanted to ask how you were doing?

[Seeing as it was one of the many things that had upset his housemate this week, he made it his business to ask, just in case he managed to irritate Riku more than he already had.]

You seem busy, anyways. I totally get that, it sucks to have to sit still and do nothing.

{OOC: I'm assuming Yukari's staying at the clinic for the moment, so is it okay to offline this in a minute, when she realizes who she's talking to? XD}

I am recovering. I would prefer to go home tomorrow, in all honesty, but I suspect I will not be allowed to leave for several more days.

I dunno if Riku told you or not, but we're folding paper cranes still, if you wanted to help that might take up some of your time. Its at least giving your hands something to do.

Exactly. I mean, this is kind of bad, but you learn to drown out the lectures you get anyways if you get hurt enough.

[He doesn't listen to a thing his doctor says to him any more.]

Um, well if you wouldn't mind a visit, I would teach you! It's really simple...and takes up some time too.

[Yukari isn't quite sure, but she thinks she might've heard someone talking in the other part of the clinic. Curious, she heads that way while she finishes up chatting with this nice man.]

Yeah, I've run into a bunch of nutjobs here, but this actually makes everything seem a little more... normal.

[And here she is, barging right in on Sephiroth's recuperation. Whoops!]

I did sleep. Now I am awake.

I'm not certain myself. Even before the individual responsible for the previous version returned home, it did not seem to be in use. I had to gather this sort of information from questioning several different people and doing my own investigating upon my arrival.

Yes, there are quite a few here that are outright insane or simply very strange. It is at least partly the nature of the place, however, bringing such disparate worlds together.

[Gaia damn it. Sephiroth clicks off the PCD even as he wonders why people keep asking him that.] A sword.

[And he really hates having someone he doesn't know here, seeing him... not vulnerable, really, but definitely weakened. He will try to be polite, though.] Actually, I visit the clinic every now and then even when not injured. So it's not truly unlikely.

[Sort of like Angeal's 'dreams and honor' lectures, then.] I believe that occurs with any overused lecture.

[He minds. He totally minds. But Hanna is Riku's friend and housemate even if Sephiroth doesn't really know him, so blowing him off because Seph doesn't like being seen laid up probably isn't acceptable.] Very well.

My doctor at home acts like some freaky mother hen, its kind of creepy, so I usually just ignore him. His lectures are never really the same though...just a lot of yelling.

[Hanna seems a little excited about this because he hasn't been getting out of the house much since his little run in with a vampire last weekend.]

Kay, i'll bring you over some paper! And if you get bored of cranes, I can teach you how to fold some other stuff too.

[Have one back, big bro.]

Pretty sure it didn't need to be done so soon after almost dying.

There is little else I can do confined to this bed. [Boooreed.]

[She smiles a little.] Well, I would hope you're not hurt this badly on your other visits. That would really be a bummer.

[There's an awkward pause. She isn't sure why, but she kind of likes this guy. Maybe it was his helpful explanation of this strange world she's now in... or maybe just that it's hard to resist a wounded hot guy.]
