[It's hard to tell what is going on at first since all the PCD is showing is black feathers. After a moment, it shakes a bit and then steadies as it's set down. With more distance, the video is now distinguishable as being Sephiroth... but with a single black wing curving out from his back on his right side. He doesn't look happy about it, either.]

This is not funny.

No. The Animus have a sick sense of humor.

I see. Because of the wing?

[Obviously, but she doesn't know what else to say. She... kind of thinks her rabbit ears and whispers are cute.]

Could it be like PM? It's something from home?

Yes.

Something like that. [Nothing wrong with the wing in and of itself... it's what it represents that has him upset.] It's complicated.

What does the wing mean, to you?

[Because obviously it means something more than 'I have a wing now' to Sephiroth if he's upset over it.]

It's the mark... of a monster.

Eh?! Really?

[Her face falls a bit after the initial shock.]

But, Sephiroth, you definitely aren't a monster. So, it's just a wing, alright? And it's just for this week.

[He honestly wants to believe what she says, but there's a lot Usagi doesn't know about SOLDIER, and about him.]

It's not just a wing. It's a symbol of what I've lost, and what I could become. Genesis... Angeal... They grew wings like this one. One so afraid of dying that he became a monster. The other so afraid of becoming a monster that he died.

Then don't be that way. Either way. You don't have to follow the same paths.

You make it sound so easy.

Not 'easy', but it's definitely possible. And it's worth it, isn't it? To avoid what you don't want to see?

There never was a second one. I shouldn't have this one.

The wing was a symptom of something that was wrong with him. He was dying.

Really? I would have seemed logical though.

I see. But this is only an event, so its probably just a harmless bad joke from the Animus.

Logic never seemed to have much to do with it. [Not that logic was ever Genesis' strong point, anyway.]

Apparently. [Given the tight tone of his voice, it's a little obvious it means something to him beyond the norm.]

Logically, yes. Logic did not seem to apply, however.

[Vincent just ... stares. He's seen that before, and it usually wasn't a good sign ... except it technically hasn't happened yet to Sephiroth, so it's probably the event.

He agrees with Sephiroth, though. It's definitely not funny.]

[Sephiroth is not used to having a wing, so he can't control it as well as he can the rest of his body language. So it curls around him in a defensive way that betrays just how upset he really is about this.]

Vincent. [His voice, however, only betrays a little bit of stress.]

It's an event. It doesn't mean anything.

Most of them, yes. [The emoticons had annoyed the hell out of him but they hadn't been particularly traumatic or anything.] Still, I wish I had gotten something... anything.... else.

If it lasts beyond the week, I would appreciate it if you watched me. There's a chance I might become mentally unstable.
