Mission 3 : [Video]

[The PCD is not picking up Sephiroth very well because he's holding it in one hand and moving a lot, but there are flashes of leather, silver hair, and steel. Mostly, what the PCD is picking up is the absolute devastation around him. Sephiroth is out in one of the more urban areas of the Wastelands, and he is destroying it. The mangled corpse of a horned worm is briefly visible as Sephiroth leaps into the air.

There's a quick series of slashes, visible as flickering steel in the feed, but more revealed by the arcs of blue-white light that result, cutting through a building and sending it crashing apart in pieces.]

This is unsatisfactory. Is there anyone willing to spar with me? In the interest of full disclosure, I am capable as both swordsman and magic user, and I am not in the best of moods.

[Sephiroth makes a small noncommittal sound, but really, the fact that he hasn't told her flat out to leave him alone means he could use the company.

When she reaches the coordinates, the area looks like there's been a disaster here. Which is not entirely untrue. The disaster's name was Sephiroth, and he's still there.]

[She takes one look at the rubble, and heads straight towards Sephiroth.]

Are you hurt?

[She was trying to find the right words to say and, in her effort, it sounded as if she was fumbling with her words at first before managing to speak clearly.] Please be careful.

[She nods, and removes her own sword from where she slung it on her shoulder with a strap.

It is a nodachi, just like Masamune, although a bit shorter, of course, and more curved. Still, not a sword than an apparently frail woman like her should be able to wield around with one hand the way she is.

She does not usually use Minazuki to fight. Her zanpakutou is a tool for healing. But in a way, that is exactly what she is doing right now. So, for the first time in a long while, she unsheathes the sword, letting the sun glint on the blade, and puts the scabbard down, assuming a stance.]

[He'll be there about twenty minutes later, looking rather unimpressed by the damage. Then again, he's seen you almost destroy his Planet, so this is ... tame, compared to it.]

[There's some dead monsters lying around, too. Sephiroth flicks his sword clean and sheaths it for now.]

I'm uninjured. I'm not easy to damage. [Yes. Yes he is hurt and that is why he's avoiding the word because none of it is physical.]

*He sounds a bit shaky, not scared but Sephiroth might recognize that Jr.'s upset at realizing the lie too.* Seph?

[What he really wants to know is how in the hell did he end up related to Sephiroth of all people?

But he had been his brother, even if it was for a short time, and he had been a good one. Not that he had anything to compare him to, but what wasn't the point.

Where? [Sora was gonna have a cow when he heard about this.]

[Hitsugaya doesn't so much as blink at the carnage. He's done the same before and after spending time with Fa- Kurotsuchi, he hardly even notices.

Instead he draws Hyourinmaru, holding the blade out in an offensive stance.]

[And Gaia damn it, there's still enough lingering from the event that Sephiroth can't bring himself to be harsh when Jr. sounds like that.] Yes, Jr.?

[It is more than a little disconcerting, to know so much about these people he didn't know at all before. It's worse that there is that moment of reacting to them as family before he remembers that he doesn't have one.]

Here. [x,y]

[That's almost a smile, even if it's only a bare shadow of the ones he'd given her when she was his little sister.] I will.

[Sephiroth nods briefly, acknowledgment of Hitsugaya's presence and maybe, just possibly, appreciation of it.

He doesn't attack directly to start off. Instead, he repeats what he did to that building on the feed, slashing through the air to send those blue-white arcs of energy flying out at Hitsugaya.]

[It takes him a while. Mostly because he had to finish packing his stuff and take it from the clinic back to his house. Home. It seemed like such a forgien concept now. That's what hurt the most. What knowing that for a week he had had a home, a place to go and just be. He had a family at home, and when he went back they would still be there. But Destiny Islands didn't really seem like home in his mind.

And for a week, this had. It was difficult, but he would get over it.

Which might have been the reason he didn't summon his keyblade the moment he ventured into the waste and found the location the coordiantes he had been sent led him too. He simply stood there, waiting for Sephiroth to notice him, arms crossed over his chest.]

Good thing I didn't piss you off last week. [Although he had gotten whomped on the head quite a few times.]

[Sephiroth really knows better than to think of Unohana as 'frail' in any way, shape, or form after this past week. So he doesn't even blink at her one-handed grip on the sword.

The hesitation is brief, only visible to someone who knows how Sephiroth fights or is looking for it. But it is there, just before he launches himself forward and strikes at her leg. And for once, the strike isn't quite as clean and precise as it's supposed to be.]

Vincent. [Slightly curt, but it's meant as a greeting, really. This event has torn open a lot of internal scars that never really healed. Some of them the same ones that made him such an easy mark for Jenova.

He's holding his sword, and while it's a loose, almost casual-looking grip, Vincent probably knows better than to think Sephiroth can't attack or defend at will.]

Then let's start.

[She raises a hand into the air, ready to call her transformation phrase.]

[No Way to Dawn and that wasn't a position that lent itself well to Riku's various special abilities, either. So Sephiroth left his sword down and held almost loosely. Probably just as well; he'd been through several fights more strenuous than he could easily find back where he came from. Even Sephiroth could tire. He dropped lightly from a large chunk of rubble to the ground.]

Hmph. You know perfectly well I wouldn't have hurt you even if you had.

[Well, out comes Masamune again but Sephiroth holds it in a defensive stance for now. He has no idea what Usagi's particular abilities entail, so he's going to wait and let her act first.]

Tell that to the back of my head. [He totally blames you for it being sore, just so you know.

Moving towards a rather large piece of rubble, he kicked it lightly, testing how stable it was before lifting himself onto it, sitting on the edge easily.]

[She is someone who can hold her own against him.]

[And in a blaze of light and power, Sailor Moon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l58MUqtQe2I) stands in Usagi's place.]

Your head is harder than most of these buildings. [Very much something he might have said during the week, edge of scoffing teasing and all. He tells himself he needs to stop that even as he finds a reasonably stable vertical chunk near Riku to lean against.]

[Well. That's....flashy. It's almost amusing, but it's also something he's never seen before so he's not going to take it, or her, lightly. Sephiroth gestures with his right hand and a green materia glows, much like the time he cured her wrist. However, this is not a Curaga spell.]

Blizzaga. [So now there's a large chunk of ice trying to fall on you, Usagi.]

[As if his spells and especially summoning in his world aren't just as flashy and don't come with pretty light shows of their own.

No, the weird part here? Are the hearts. Coming out of her scepter (which was not there a second ago). Shattering the ice into harmless, glittering pieces.]

[He's just gonna snort at that, before leaning over and rapping his fist against Sephiroth's own head a half dozen times.]

And your's is completely hollow.

[You'll never manage it around Riku, Seph, so don't even try.]
